Each movement combines thematics and blocks of dance creating a profound language: a universal language that speaks directly to the soul.
There are four thematic pillars and five primary blocks of dance movements, progressing through three levels of proficiency:

- Level 02: Intermediate - Deepen your understanding and expression of the Sacred Linguistic Dance movements, interacting with the space and the world around you.
- Level 03: Advanced - Master the language of your body, transcending limited beliefs, stories of the mind, and embodying the wisdom of the soul.

The Sacred Linguistic Dance®
“Over decades, my diverse experiences—traveling globally, residing in different cities and cultures, studying fields such as business, engineering, nuclear fusion, Energy healing, and meditation, as well as working in diverse cultural locations—have shaped my perception of the nature of the reality. Exposure to traditional African artefacts and exploration of various cultures, cosmology, and mysticism has led me to a fascinating discovery: despite cultural differences, people around the world have frequently employed specific body movements that have carried subtle and similar meanings. This realization took me by surprise, prompting me to explore deeper into the significance of these gestures.

My curiosity led me to ask questions certain people in different places around the world, such as, “Why do you bow with your eyes directed to the ground?” or “What distinguishes bowing to a deity from bowing to a person?”. When asked the meaning of certain gestures, many people believed their gestures were unique to their cultures, defined as “normal” and done always. However, I observed that these movements were fundamentally alike amongst different cultures worldwide. For example, bowing is recognized in various cultures as a sign of respect, whether directed toward a deity, an individual, or a specific manifestation of “Energy.” In many instances, these gestures had become mechanical, learned behaviours passed down through education or tradition I also noticed that the orientation of the heads and sights carried similar meanings across cultures. For instance, in Europe and in other parts of the world, looking down might signify sadness, while gazing upward at a 60-degree angle often relates to thoughts of the future. Additionally, I observed that certain body movements could connect to celestial bodies, sometimes representing similar stars across different cultures. This was truly captivating! However, I struggled to find literature that addressed the commonality of these observations.

Consequently, I concluded that people worldwide have long shared a consciously forgotten universal language of body movements, based on five primary intentions and three primary head orientation that transcend cultural differences and traditions, often indirectly linked to the stars.
I identified five primary and universal movements that we engage in daily life, worldwide in general. I call them primary movements. These primary movements are based on five primary human intentions I have observed which are the intention of resting, healing oneself, healing others, defending/attacking, and showing respect/honouring.
This realization inspired me to create a linguistic framework , the Sacred Linguistic Dance, that highlights the direct connection between the body movement, head direction and indirect connections between humans, nature, the stars, and sacred geometry.
Each movement I observed is intrinsically tied to a primordial sacred geometry, allowing participants to consciously connect with and engage in the essence of reality through Sacred Geometry for nurturing and healing purposes.“

The Four Thematics

As you lift your eyes to the celestial canvas, the stars, sun, moon, and endless sky become a gateway to the divine, a conduit to the Source, or the higher power that aligns with your heart's deepest convictions. In this moment, energy flows both ways, as you receive guidance, wisdom, and inspiration, while also sending forth your intentions, prayers, and gratitude to the universe, the ether, or the sacred entity that resonates with your soul.

As you look forward at a 60-degree angle, you tap into the energetic portal of your future, where possibilities await and manifestation unfolds. This angular alignment enables a powerful exchange of energy, allowing you to both transmit your intentions and receive guidance from the realm of potentiality. Your focus at this angle connects you with the dynamic branches and leaves of your future self, symbolizing growth, expansion, and the realization of your highest potential.

The present

As you look straight ahead, you tap into the dynamic energy of the present, your center, and your immediate surroundings. This direct gaze establishes a powerful exchange of energy, enabling you to both transmit your presence and receive insight from the world around you and within you. Your focus at this angle connects you with the robust trunk of your being, symbolizing stability, strength, and awareness of your current circumstances.

The past
What came before, what was
When you look down to the ground, you access the energies of your past, connecting with the roots of your family tree and the wisdom of your ancestors. This downward focus enables a sacred exchange, allowing you to both release and receive energy, letting go of what no longer serves you and embracing the lessons and love that have shaped your life.
The Five Main Blocks of Dance
When intention and the body's universal language merge, the body is sanctified as a messenger of the soul, giving form to its deepest whispers and beckoning forth its most cherished dreams.

In SCI-MAA, there are five sacred blocks of Dance that serve as the embodiment of the intention, allowing the body to whisper its truth through movement.
Each block of dance is the reference of a universal body movement shared amongst cultures worldwide. Every block of dance holds a mirror to our collective soul, reflecting a universal language of movement that unites us all, beyond cultural and geographical divides.
Each block of dance is directed towards an Energy : a "Thematic", in SCI-MAA.

Bowing
I am bowing to/from the energy of "a Thematic"
The origins of bowing are very old, yet across the world we all can feel its meaning.
In Africa, in ancient Egypt (around 2500 BCE), artwork and hieroglyphics often depicted people bowing to pharaohs, gods, and goddesses as a sign of respect and submission.
In Asia, the act of bowing has been an integral part of various cultures, including ancient China, Japan, and India, with evidence of bowing found in ancient texts, art, and artifacts dating back thousands of years.

It's worth noting that the act of bowing likely predates these early depictions, as it is a fundamental human gesture of respect, submission, and reverence that transcends cultures and time.

As a primary dance movement in SCI-MAA®, the purpose of bowing block of dance is to show deep respect and honour to and from a Thematic. It can be also a form of greeting used to express deference, sincerity, humility and remorse.

Self-Healing
I am healing myself to/from the energy of "a Thematic"
The hands, especially, have immense healing capability. Self-healing is done by wrapping both arms across oneself body. It is a defensive and closed body position. It can work to feel reassured, cared, and comforted as well as showing vulnerability to those around.

The specific image or position of self-healing by wrapping both arms across one's body is a universal gesture that has been depicted in various forms of art and artifacts across ancient cultures.

In Africa, in Ancient Egypt many artifacts were depicted figures with both arms wrapped across their body, symbolizing self-protection and healing.
In Africa again, the Ife Kingdom (around 1200 - 1500 CE) located in what is now modern-day Nigeria, produced bronze artifacts that showed figures with both arms crossed over their chests, which may represent self-healing and inner balance.

Healing Others
I am healing others to/from the energy of "a thematic"
In this posture, the healing capability of the healers' hands is directed towards others. It is an open position that channels healing energy to those around the healer or dancer.

In West Africa and worldwide, the image or position of healing others by using hands directed towards others can be traced back to ancient cultures and civilizations. One of the earliest known depictions of this gesture can be found in the Dogon Culture . Located in what is now modern-day Mali, the Dogon People created artifacts and rock art that depicted figures with their hands extended towards others, which may symbolize healing energy transfer and spiritual connection.

In Yoruba Ifa tradition, the "Ifa" priests use their hands to channel spiritual energy towards others for healing and guidance.
​
In India, the "Vedic" period in ancient India saw the emergence of "Prana" or life force energy, which was often depicted as being transferred through the hands of spiritual practitioners.

Being Grounded
I am grounding to/from the energy of "a thematic"
Seated postures are considered by many as the ideal pose for meditation. The legs are crossed with the spine vertical and lengthened. It is a very stable posture.

The Dogon people of Mali, West Africa, as the Ancient Toltecs and Aztecs in Mexico created artifacts and rock art that depict figures with legs crossed and spine straight, which may symbolize spiritual connection, balance and energy transfer or simply a position of being or awaiting.
As a primary dance movement in SCI-MAA®, the purpose of being grounded block of dance is to to connect and root oneself to and from a Thematic.

Defence and/or Attack
I am defending and/or attacking to/from the energy of "a thematic"
Humans have been looking to Orion’s Belt since the beginning of time. Many different cultures describe this hunter and hero of light in a fight.
​
The Navajo People see Orion as a hunter, carrying a bow and arrow, and protecting his people from harm. The constellation is believed to offer protection and defense to the Navajo people, warding off evil spirits and harm.​
​
In Hindu mythology, the Orion Belt is associated with the cosmic dance of Lord Shiva, known as the Tandava. Shiva's dance represents destruction and creation, similar to the cyclical nature of the Orion Belt's appearance in the night sky.
​
Based on this constellation, the attack and/or defense block of dance is a powerful movement that builds strength and power within and outwards to and from a Thematic.
